     Faith-Based Referrals
  • Restoration House - A faith based, long-term, residential program for survivors of sex trafficking.
  • Exodus Cry - Is committed to abolishing sex slavery through Christ-centered prevention, intervention, and holistic restoration of trafficking victims.
 
     Non Faith-Based Referral
  • Stop Trafficking Project -- Utilize the four strengths of communication, leadership, team development, and compassion to combat and ultimately help end domestic minor sex trafficking in the greater KC region, the Midwest, and USA.  
  • The Justice Project - To provide criminal justice and social systems advocacy and navigation for women in poverty who may be suffering from a multitude of challenges.
  • KC Street Hope - We help victims become survivors.
  • Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault  (MOCSA) - To improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and prevent sexual violence in our community.​
  • Legal Aid of Western Missouri​ - Legal Aid's Human Trafficking Unit represents persons with civil legal problems arising from trafficking who reside in a 40-county area in western Missouri, or anyone in Missouri if the client is or has been a migrant farm worker.

    Through their Anti-trafficking  Project the NCCW partners with US Sisters Against Human Trafficking to provide awareness of this terrible scourge on human dignity, assists survivors of trafficking, and  works to end Human Trafficking.

2019 U.S. Department of State Trafficking in ​Persons (TIP) Report 
​

The Trafficking in Persons Report, or TIP Report, is an annual report issued by the U.S. State Department's Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons.  It ranks governments based on their perceived efforts to acknowledge and combat human trafficking.  The report divides nations into tiers based on their compliance with standards outlined in the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000.

Tier 1 Countries whose governments fully comply with the TVPA's minimum standards.

Tier 2 Countries whose governments do not fully comply with an TVPA’s minimum standards, but are making significant efforts to bring themselves into compliance with those standards.

Tier 2 Watchlist Countries whose governments do not fully comply with the TVPA’s minimum standards, but are making significant efforts to bring themselves into compliance with those standards and:
  • The absolute number of victims of severe forms of trafficking is very significant or is significantly increasing; or
  • There is a failure to provide evidence of increasing efforts to combat severe forms of trafficking in persons from the previous year; or
  • The determination that a country is making significant efforts to bring themselves into compliance with minimum standards was based on commitments by the country to take additional future steps over the next year.

​Tier 3 Countries whose governments do not fully comply with the minimum standards and are not making significant efforts to do so.
